Is The Marshes Golf Club open to the public?

Yes. The Marshes Golf Club welcomes both members and public golfers. As a semi-private golf club, members receive priority access and exclusive benefits while public tee times are available based on availability.

Where are you located? Is there parking?

The Marshes Golf Club is located in Kanata, Ontario, adjacent to Brookstreet Hotel and just minutes from Highway 417. Yes, we have plenty of parking and EV charging stations available for our guests!

Do I have to stay at Brookstreet Hotel to play?

No. Everyone is welcome to book a tee time, whether or not you are staying at Brookstreet Hotel.

How far in advance can I book a tee time?

Members receive advanced booking privileges. Public tee times become available according to our booking policy and availability.

Can I book online?

Yes. Tee times can be booked online 24 hours a day through our online booking system or by calling the Golf Shop at 613-271-3370.

Can I use the driving range without playing golf?

Our practice facilities are reserved for members, guests with a scheduled tee time, league participants and lesson participants.

Are range balls included?

Members receive access based on their membership category. Golfers playing The Marshes or Marchwood receive practice balls before their round.

Do you offer golf lessons?

Yes. Individual lessons, clinics and junior instruction are available through our PGA of Canada professionals.

What memberships do you offer?

We offer several membership categories designed to suit different playing preferences. Please visit our Membership page or contact the Golf Shop for current pricing and availability.

What are the benefits of becoming a member?

Benefits may include priority tee times, unlimited golf (by category), driving range access, tournaments and leagues, guest privileges, discounts and exclusive events.

Is there a waiting list?

Some membership categories may have limited availability. Please contact us for current availability.

How many holes are there?

The Marshes features an 18-hole championship course, the Marchwood 9-hole executive course and Blackbird Falls 18-hole putting course.

Do you have GPS golf carts?

Yes. Our fleet includes GPS-equipped power carts.

Is walking permitted?

Yes. Walking is welcomed whenever course conditions permit.

Is there a dress code?

Yes. Proper golf attire is required. Golf shirts, golf shorts/pants/skirts and soft-spike shoes are encouraged. Cut-offs, offensive clothing and metal spikes are not permitted.

Is there a restaurant?

Yes. Ironstone Grill overlooks the golf course and welcomes golfers, members and the public.

Do you host corporate tournaments

Yes. We specialize in corporate tournaments, charity events and group outings.

Can I host a banquet or meeting after my tournament?

Yes. Brookstreet Hotel and The Marshes offer meeting space, banquet facilities, catering and accommodations.

What happens if there is lightning?

Play will be suspended immediately when dangerous weather is present. Players should return to the clubhouse until play resumes.

Will I receive a rain check?

Rain checks may be issued in accordance with club policy depending on when play is interrupted.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please cancel within the required notice period so other golfers have the opportunity to play.

Do you charge for no-shows?

Yes. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may be subject to charges in accordance with club policy.
